This hand-painted original icon measures 6 x 8 inches and is .75 inches thick. It is painted in egg tempera on a traditional icon board (natural gesso on wood panel). The halo is gilded in 24 carat gold leaf with an etched design. The icon is finished with archival varnish. It comes ready-to-hang with a drilled hole for a nail.
