This hand-painted original icon measures 6 x 8 inches and is 1/8 inch thick. It is painted in egg tempera on a mixed media panel. The halo is gilded in 24 carat gold leaf with an etched design. The icon is finished with archival varnish. It comes ready to display on an easel or to insert into a standard 6x8 inch frame. Recommended framing is without glass or mat. Note that this icon does not have a dark border, but upon request a deep red border will be painted on for you.
